Visa Appoints Elaine Chang as Greater China General Manager

Visa China general manager role has been given to Elaine Chang, a technology executive with more than 30 years of experience, succeeding Shirley Yu who retires at year-end. Chang has held senior leadership roles at Amazon, AWS and Intel, including president of Amazon China, global vice president and general manager of Kindle China, and managing director of AWS Greater China. Most recently, she led AWS’s global go-to-market strategy in generative AI and machine learning. Visa said her appointment strengthens its leadership in Greater China and supports its strategy to drive innovation, technology adoption and security solutions across the payments ecosystem in the region.
