Temasek Considers Three-Unit Overhaul to Boost Efficiency

Temasek restructuring is under review as Singapore’s state investor considers splitting into three investment units to sharpen focus and improve returns, Bloomberg reported. One unit would oversee major domestic holdings such as Singapore Airlines, another would handle overseas investments, and a third would consolidate fund stakes. The current structure is organised by region and asset class, but executives see the revamp as a way to enhance efficiency. A decision could be announced in the coming months, though implementation may be expedited. Temasek did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
