Singapore supply chain resilience is stronger than in other major developed markets, with local businesses better prepared to withstand prolonged disruptions, according to Proxima's 2026 Global Supply Chain Resilience Outlook.

The findings highlight Singapore's continued focus on operational resilience and business continuity amid increasing geopolitical and technology-related risks.

The survey found that 23% of Singapore companies could continue operating for between four and six months following a major supply chain disruption, compared with 18% in the United States, 10% in Germany, 8% in the United Kingdom and 5% in Australia.

Globally, around half of chief executives said their organisations would struggle to maintain normal operations for longer than three weeks after a significant disruption.

Singapore companies are also strengthening preparations for artificial intelligence-related risks, with 93% reporting that they have documented and tested response plans for AI-driven disruptions.

The survey covered 515 chief executives from large companies across five international markets.
