Singapore assets under management increased 10% during 2025 to SGD6.7tr (USD5.2tr), supported by stronger financial markets and rising international capital inflows, according to a Monetary Authority of Singapore survey.

Traditional asset classes, including equities and bonds, expanded 9%, while alternative investments such as private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and real estate grew 0.4%.

Overseas investors accounted for 76% of assets, with 88% invested internationally.

Singapore hosted 1,320 asset managers at year-end together with 1,406 variable capital companies representing 3,443 sub-funds.

MAS said wealth assets continued growing at least as quickly as the wider industry, although the pace of new family office formation had moderated.

The city-state nevertheless remains home to more than 2,000 single-family offices, reinforcing its position as one of Asia's leading international wealth management centres.
