Samsung AI Agents Expected to Reshape Work and Corporate Culture

Samsung AI agents could fundamentally change workplace practices and corporate culture as artificial intelligence moves from conversational tools towards systems capable of independently performing tasks and making decisions, according to Samsung Electronics co-CEO Jun Young-hyun.
Speaking as Samsung hosted its annual AI Forum in Seoul, Jun said the impact of AI agents would extend beyond technological innovation to reshape how companies operate and employees work.
The event brought together researchers and executives from OpenAI, Amazon Web Services, Dell Technologies and Anthropic to discuss AI agents, robotics, security and enterprise applications.
OpenAI hardware chief Richard Ho outlined the transition from chatbots towards systems capable of making decisions and carrying out tasks independently.
Samsung presented research covering efficient and physical AI, continual learning and self-evolving systems.
Its semiconductor division also highlighted potential AI applications in chip design, manufacturing and process improvement. The Samsung AI Forum marked its 10th year.
