The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (HKIFA) announced that chief executive officer Sally Wong will retire on 31 October after more than 30 years in the industry. Wong played a pivotal role in advancing Hong Kong’s mutual fund and pension fund markets, as well as leading investor education and research initiatives. HKIFA has appointed former chairman Bruno Lee as consultant to advise during the transition while it searches for a permanent successor. Lee, who has over three decades of experience in asset and wealth management, including as founder of BIG Family Limited, will work closely with the executive committee and office to ensure continuity.
