Prosper Family Office Hong Kong Presence Expands with New Office

Prosper Family Office Hong Kong operations have expanded with the opening of a new Tsim Sha Tsui office as affluent families seek more integrated succession planning and governance services.

The multi-family office opened the premises on Aug. 12, with around 150 representatives from banking, asset management, trust, legal and accounting firms attending the ceremony.

Prosper coordinates wealth structuring, trusts, succession planning, family governance and next-generation education through a network of professional advisers.

Co-founder Percy Chan previously held investment and wealth management roles at Citibank, Standard Chartered, Amundi Asset Management and Bank of East Asia after beginning his career at HSBC Investment Bank Asia.

Chan said wealthy families increasingly require integrated structures capable of protecting capital through different economic cycles while facilitating orderly intergenerational wealth transfers, rather than focusing solely on maximising investment returns.
