Indies Capital Raises USD300m for Southeast Asia Private Credit Fund

Indies Capital private credit

Indies Capital private credit strategy gained momentum as the Singapore-based firm closed its fourth fund, Indies Special Opportunities IV, at more than USD300m, over twice the size of its predecessor. The vehicle attracted sovereign wealth and pension funds, insurers, corporations and family offices, reflecting surging appetite for Southeast Asia-focused credit strategies. ISO IV will finance resilient businesses seeking capital for expansion, acquisitions and balance sheet strengthening, addressing the region’s funding gap left by traditional bank lending. Managing partner Denny Goenawan said the raise underlines investor confidence in Indies’ ability to deliver risk-adjusted returns and long-term partnerships. Since its 2009 founding, Indies has invested over USD1.3bn in private credit.
