Hong Kong Fintech Ranking 2025 Overtakes London and New York

Hong Kong fintech ranking 2025 climbed to the world’s top spot, surpassing London and New York as the leading global fintech hub, according to the Z/Yen Group index, the FinTech Association of Hong Kong said. The city’s rise reflects its robust regulatory framework, advanced financial infrastructure, diverse talent pool, and policies fostering innovation in blockchain, artificial intelligence, digital banking and regulatory technology. The association said it was proud to contribute to the sector’s success and pledged further support, describing Hong Kong as a “superconnector” for scaling fintech globally. The recognition comes as the city seeks to reinforce its status as an international financial centre while boosting its technology-driven industries.
