Family Office Philanthropy Expands as Raffles Family Office Launches Foundation

Family office philanthropy is expanding as Raffles Family Office launches the Raffles Family Office Foundation to consolidate its charitable initiatives under a unified platform.

The foundation was officially unveiled alongside the opening of the firm’s new Singapore office, marking a formal step in structuring its long-standing philanthropic work.

Group CEO Chi Man Kwan said the new entity brings together years of giving focused on education, talent development and knowledge exchange.

As part of its family office philanthropy efforts, the firm has committed to a 10-year scholarship programme with the University of Hong Kong’s Business School to support academic development.

In Singapore, the foundation has backed scholarship initiatives at the Lee Wei Song Music Academy, including programmes that support young artists in creating original music tied to social causes, reflecting a broader push to align wealth with impact.
