Bank of Singapore Donor-Advised Funds Platform Targets Family Philanthropy

Bank of Singapore donor-advised funds are being offered through a new philanthropic platform designed to give wealthy families greater flexibility over how assets supporting charitable giving are invested.
The OCBC private banking arm’s Legacy of Giving platform allows clients to shape the investment approach applied to their philanthropic capital, potentially increasing the assets available for future charitable grants.
The model differs from many donor-advised fund arrangements that typically provide clients with a pre-set range of investment solutions.
Bank of Singapore is partnering the Community Foundation of Singapore and Temasek Trust Foundation Advisors, which will provide donor-advised funds, philanthropic expertise and access to charity networks.
The platform also offers ready-made solutions for clients seeking simpler structures.
The launch broadens the private bank’s family wealth offering as philanthropy becomes increasingly integrated with succession, legacy planning and the wider management of multigenerational family wealth.
