Airwallex MAS Licence Secured for Yield Investment Product in Singapore

Airwallex has obtained a Capital Markets Services (CMS) licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, allowing it to launch its Airwallex Yield investment product in the city-state. The solution enables businesses to generate returns on surplus cash through investments in money market funds, offering multi-currency management and no lock-in periods.

Airwallex Capital (Singapore) will collaborate with Fullerton Fund Management and Goldman Sachs Asset Management for SGD and USD strategies respectively. The launch in Singapore follows earlier deployments in Australia and Hong Kong. The company said the product is designed to support flexible treasury management and help firms optimise idle cash as demand for smart liquidity solutions grows.
