ZA Bank, OKX Hong Kong collaborate to boost Web3 development


ZA Bank, a Hong Kong-based virtual banking sector player, has opened an operating account for OKX Hong Kong, a player in the global virtual asset exchange and Web3 technology space. The partnership aids OKX Hong Kong’s endeavour to obtain a Virtual Asset Trading Platform (VATP) licence and Type 1 & 7 licences, aligning with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing regulations. Devon Sin, ZA Bank’s Alternate Chief Executive, highlighted their commitment to fostering a thriving Web3 ecosystem in Hong Kong. Lennix Lai, OKX’s Global Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the importance of this collaboration for the growth of the virtual asset space in Hong Kong. This strategic alliance underscores both entities' dedication to contributing to Hong Kong's emergence as a global hub for Web3 technologies.
