Working from home likely to become normal: PwC Taiwan

Even as the world is emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic, working from home is likely to become a regular arrangement, according to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Taiwan. In a forum, PwC said companies should seek to meet expectations of workers who want to work from home on some days of the week by providing fair monetary compensation and fulfilling work environment conditions to recruit and retain talent. Citing a survey, PwC Taiwan said 54% of workers globally think their job can be done remotely, and 41% of Taiwanese workers share this view. Taiwanese workers mainly focus on monetary compensation; being able to ‘be themselves’ at work; and being physically and psychologically cared for, according to PwC Taiwan HR head Alan Lin.
