Min Huang, the former head of asset management for Credit Suisse in Asia Pacific, is leaving UBS as the bank reviews its China business following global leadership changes. Huang joined UBS Asset Management as China client coverage head last year. UBS is currently reframing its strategy in the USD9.7tr China asset management market, with ambitions to expand in investment banking, wealth management, and asset management. The departure coincides with UBS appointing Aleksandar Ivanovic as the new global head of its USD1.6tr asset management business, succeeding Suni Harford. This change in UBS’s China strategy and leadership reflects the dynamic nature of the global banking industry.
