Top global leaders to convene at Hong Kong’s AFF 2025



The 18th Asian Financial Forum (AFF), set for January 13-14, 2025, will convene more than 100 global policymakers, investors, and business leaders to discuss strategies amid shifting geopolitical and economic landscapes. The event, co-organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, carries the theme “Powering the Next Growth Engine.” Sessions will explore opportunities in emerging markets, including Mainland China, ASEAN, and the Middle East, as well as advancements in artificial intelligence, fintech, and sustainability. Notable speakers, such as economist Justin Lin Yifu and executives from Primavera Capital, Alibaba, AXA, Microsoft, and the European Central Bank, will offer insights. The AFF will feature plenaries, policy dialogues, workshops, deal-making sessions, and dedicated fintech and innovation zones, underscoring Hong Kong’s status as a regional financial hub.
