Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has urged companies investing in cryptocurrency and digital assets to put in place risk management systems to protect them from the impact of a crypto collapse. The SEC made the warning as the crypto market has continued to decline amid heavy sell-offs. It said firms investing or engaging in digital assets must have internal control systems to reduce the risk and potential impact of volatility. The regular urged listed companies to carefully consider their intentions to ensure these investments will not jeopardise their financial positions or operating results.
