Syfe, BlackRock open private credit access to Singapore investors

Singapore-based digital wealth platform Syfe has partnered with global asset manager BlackRock to offer accredited investors access to US middle market private credit investments, traditionally reserved for institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The collaboration gives Syfe clients exposure to BlackRock’s US middle market direct lending strategy, part of a USD63bn global credit platform. Private credit, involving loans to companies outside public markets, has gained popularity for offering higher yields and reduced volatility, with average annual returns of 8–10% over the past decade. Syfe, which became profitable in early 2024, serves over 250,000 users and operates in more than 60 countries.
