
Singapore and the UAE have inked multiple pacts, embracing areas from the green economy to cybersecurity. These agreements, a total of seven MOUs and an additional green economy framework, were exchanged in the presence of Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and the UAE's President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders renewed their commitment to a cleaner environment, aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050. They stressed the pivotal role of funding in the global climate agenda. PM Lee, on his visit, delved into the UAE’s future energy strategies at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. His trip also included interactions with key UAE dignitaries and a warm gathering with Singaporeans residing in the region.
