Latest figures released by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) showed that the city-state's international visitor arrivals continued to grow in September, marking the eight straight month of increase, to 752,305 arrivals. While the figure was still below the 1.5 million recorded in September 2019 before the pandemic, it was higher than the 728,744 visitors recorded in August of this year. Indonesia was the top source of arrivals for the sixth consecutive month, with 115,433 tourists, followed by India, which sent 83,265 visitors. China, Singapore's biggest inbound market from 2017 to 2019, only sent 13,601 visitors in September. From January to September, Singapore has reported some 3.7 million international visitor arrivals, higher than STB's expectation of four to six million international visitors.
