Philippines economic policy to remain stable

Economic policies in the Philippines will remain stable despite the change in administration by June 30, assured Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez. The DTI chief made the pronouncement during a forum with American investors in Washington, where he presented business opportunities in the Philippines for US enterprises. Lopez said the DTI assures its continued end-to-end assistance to possible investors despite the upcoming national elections. The Duterte administration, he added, passed key legislations that would cement a stable business environment, especially for foreign investors eyeing to set up their operation in the country.
