New China Life Insurance is collaborating with CICC Capital to create a new RMB10bn (USDD1.4bn) investment fund, aiming to diversify its assets and explore more investment opportunities. NCI is contributing RMB9.99bn to the fund, while CICC Capital, a unit of China International Capital Corp, will invest RMB1m. The fund, to be managed by CICC Capital for eight years, reflects NCI’s strategy to leverage professional institutions for investment benefits. This partnership marks a significant step for NCI in expanding its investment channels with a professional partner, aligning with its goal to diversify and enhance its asset management portfolio.
