Multi-family office Peakhouse taps Berry Wong as CEO

Peakhouse, an Asian multi‑family office with hubs in Hong Kong, Chengdu and Ho Chi Minh City, has appointed industry veteran Berry Wong as group chief executive and expanded its Hong Kong headquarters in Central’s Standard Chartered Building to accommodate growth. Wong, who spent more than three decades in wealth management, previously led Asia‑Pacific operations at insurance broker Charles Monat Associates and headed wealth planning at BNP Paribas and HSBC. Peakhouse said Wong will steer strategy across its three centres, aiming to harness rising private wealth in mainland China and Vietnam, where Chengdu and Ho Chi Minh City report annual economic growth of about 6‑7%. The firm added that the larger Hong Kong office underscores confidence in the city’s role as a regional family‑office hub.
