Meta names Nicole Tan new Singapore head

Meta has appointed Nicole Tan as its new country director for Singapore, effective June 2, 2025, the company announced. With over 25 years of industry experience, Tan will focus on accelerating digital innovation, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to create new business opportunities, and supporting Singapore’s growing digital economy. Singapore is a key market for Meta, serving as a hub for regional innovation and collaboration. Tan, who previously led Meta’s operations in Malaysia, replaces Damian Kim, who will transition to a new role within the company’s Asia-Pacific team. Tan is also a vocal advocate for women in tech and has played a key role in mentorship and talent development across Southeast Asia.
