Mazars, the Paris-based international audit, tax, and advisory firm, has strengthened its Singapore team with the appointment of Tan Yan Song as a new partner, focusing on the insurance sector. Tan, who brings over two decades of experience in audit and assurance within financial services, has previously held significant roles, including as the regional head of internal audit at a major Japanese insurer, and a position at a Big Four firm. Rick Chan, managing partner at Mazars in Singapore, highlighted Tan’s appointment as a crucial step in enhancing the firm’s expertise, particularly in insurance and asset management. Mazars, with a global presence in over 95 countries and nearly 400 employees in Singapore, continues to expand its services, responding to the dynamic needs of the financial services industry.
