Manulife Vietnam said it settled claims valued at almost VND7tr (USD298.55m) in 2021, marking a 36% increase from the previous year. The firm reported revenues of VND33.09tr and total assets of nearly VND106.38tr, up 14%. In 2022, the company managed to make a profit after experiencing losses in the previous year. Manulife's CEO, Sang Lee, attributed the good results to customer trust, prudent financial management, and stable interest rates. The company has a strong financial foundation with a charter capital of VND22.22tr and a solvency margin well above the minimum requirement. Manulife has partnered with several banks and adopted digital applications to make insurance more accessible.
