According to a survey by business consultancy Capco, most affluent Hongkongers are embracing artificial intelligence (AI) for wealth management, with 74% comfortable with AI-guided decision-making. Notably, 25% are extremely comfortable with the technology. The survey also revealed a significant shift towards digital channels, with 93% of respondents increasing their use in the past two years, and nearly half reporting a significant uptick. While 33% prefer a purely digital self-service approach, traditional human-only interaction is favoured by 27%. However, a hybrid model combining both digital and human elements remains the most popular, preferred by 39%. The survey included 500 individuals with at least USD100,000 in investable assets.
