M&G Investments (M&G) has announced the appointment of Peter Kim as the Head of Korea, a newly created role to bolster its Asian strategy. Based in Seoul, Kim will report to Berny Lin, Head of Distribution Asia (ex-Japan) for M&G, and will oversee M&G's expansion in South Korea, while executing the group's strategic vision and strengthening partnerships. Kim, with nearly 30 years of experience in South Korea’s investment sector, joins M&G from Lazard Korea Asset Management. Loretta Ng, M&G’s Head of Asia Pacific, praised Kim's appointment as a sign of M&G's commitment to growing its presence in Korea. M&G, with USD366bn in assets under management, aims to complement its strong presence in the UK and Europe with growth in key Asian markets. Kim expressed excitement to lead this initiative, recognising South Korea's dynamic market and the unique position of M&G to serve its institutional clients.
