JPMorgan's commercial banking unit has strengthened its leadership team as part of its ongoing international expansion drive. Pravin Advani takes on an enhanced role as Chief Administrative Officer for corporate client banking international. His focus will be on supporting the bank's growing interests in the global innovation economy. Meanwhile, Kerwin Clayton, an experienced figure at JPMorgan since 2006, steps up as Head of Commercial Banking for APAC. The strategic appointments come in the wake of JPMorgan's aggressive expansion outside the U.S., which started in 2019. Since then, the banking giant has extended its reach to 26 countries, employing 200 new staff members and adding 650 clients globally. The bank aims to continue this growth, particularly in the APAC region, where it serves mid-sized companies across seven countries.
