Interest Rates Top Economic Risks for Singapore Family Offices, Deutsche Bank Finds

Singapore family office risks are increasingly centred on interest rates and bond yields, according to a Deutsche Bank poll of wealthy individuals and family offices.
The survey, conducted during the Emerging Markets Family Office Forum 2026, found that 37% of respondents considered interest rates and bond yields the greatest threats to economic growth.
Inflation ranked second at 23%, followed by artificial intelligence at 17%.
Concern about AI has increased substantially from 5% in the previous year, highlighting growing awareness of its potential economic impact.
The poll, conducted by Deutsche Bank Chief Investment Officer Christian Nolting, also found that 73% of respondents considered Asia the most geopolitically stable region over the next 12 months, compared with 14% choosing the United States.
Deutsche Bank said international wealthy families were increasingly prioritising stability, risk mitigation and global connectivity, reinforcing Singapore’s appeal as an international wealth management centre.
