ING Bank appoints former Westpac CEO as Singapore country manager

ING Bank has appointed former Westpac Singapore CEO Sachdev as country manager for ING Singapore effective June 21, 2022. He will report to Anju Abrol, head of Wholesale Banking APAC. Anand succeeds Erwin Maspolim, who will take on the responsibility of covering Indonesia and Vietnam as head of Southeast Asia – Representative Offices effective June 21. Anand joined the Australian lender in Sydney in 2005 and has since accumulated over 17 years of experience by taking on increasingly senior roles across Asia, Australia and the Pacific Islands. In 2013, he relocated to Singapore to support Westpac’s growth in the region. Singapore is the Asia Pacific headquarters for ING and the branch has about 600 employees.
