HSBC Asset Management announced the appointment of Pang Qi Lim as the new CEO for Southeast Asia and Singapore, effective November 14. The move, pending regulatory approval, follows Patrice Conxicoeur's departure to explore new opportunities. Lim, who previously held a key position at Fidelity International, will also serve as the Head of Strategic Partnerships for Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, he will report to Daisy Ho, HSBC Asset Management CEO for APAC and Hong Kong, and Ashmita Acharya, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking for Singapore. Lim's extensive experience, including roles at Standard Chartered and Fortis Private Bank, positions him well for this significant leadership role at HSBC.
