HKEX Integrated Fund Platform Expands Fund Distribution Services

The HKEX Integrated Fund Platform has expanded with the launch of new platform and nominee services designed to streamline fund distribution and improve operational efficiency across Hong Kong's asset management industry.

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing said the services would help reduce market fragmentation by standardising procedures for client onboarding, order processing, settlement, payments, reconciliation and reporting.

The latest additions build on the platform's Fund Repository, introduced in December 2024, and Order Routing Service, launched in July 2025.

Together, the services extend the platform's coverage across the fund distribution lifecycle.

The infrastructure connects fund distributors, asset managers, transfer agents and other market participants through common operational processes.

Participation has increased from an initial 33 organisations to more than 60, including fund houses, distributors and transfer agents.

For wealth managers and family offices, the expanded platform could improve operational efficiency and access to investment products while strengthening Hong Kong's fund management infrastructure.
