
JP Morgan Private Bank has announced Harshika Patel as its new Asia CEO on October 30. Patel, succeeding Kam Shing Kwang, who is now the Chairperson of North Asia, will maintain her position as CEO of JP Morgan Hong Kong. With over 30 years in the financial services realm across major financial hubs, she will report to Martin Marron, CEO of the international private bank, and Filippo Gori, JP Morgan’s Asia-Pacific CEO. Kam, a 25-year veteran with JP Morgan, will now advise on the bank's strategic goals and fortify regional stakeholder ties, reporting to Gori. Marron emphasised the significance of the Asia private bank, which manages over USD2.2tr globally, and expressed confidence in Patel's leadership to enhance the bank's future endeavours.
