Grab has announced the appointment of Adelene Foo as the new Managing Director of Grab Malaysia, effective February 1, 2023. In a statement, Grab said Foo is tasked to oversee the implementation of their business strategies and operations in the country. Foo, who has been with Grab for 10 years now, is expected to bring to Grab Malaysia a track record of launching and scaling various businesses regionally and contributing to a positive and long-term impact on the local communities. Russell Cohen, Group Managing Director of Operations at Grab, said the company has evolved tremendously over the past 10 years as they also introduced new services and features in their superapp. He added that the company is now more focused on building amazing products and services to help the Malaysian community to earn, ride, eat, shop, and access financial services.
