EY’s major investment to shape future of accounting in SG


EY Singapore announced a SGD100m (USD74m) investment over five years to enhance its talent development initiatives and increase the appeal of the accounting profession. Starting Monday, the investment will boost early career salaries, with new accountancy graduates earning an average of SGD4,300. Additionally, EY is launching a management associate program, EY Scale, targeting individuals with under two years of experience to explore various service lines and industries. The firm will also expand its learning opportunities, including the EY Tech MBA, EY Masters in Sustainability, and digital credentials through the EY Badges programme. An innovation centre has also been added to its renovated office to foster transformation and innovation.
