Eastspring names Michael Chang head of investments for Malaysia

Eastspring Investments, the asset management arm of Prudential plc, has appointed Michael Chang as Head of Investments for Eastspring Investments Berhad (EIMY) in Malaysia. Chang, who brings over 25 years of experience in fixed-income and multi-asset investing, will oversee EIMY’s investment activities, aligning strategies with client needs and the firm’s objectives. His appointment is part of Eastspring’s efforts to strengthen leadership amid evolving market conditions. Chang has previously led regional teams and developed award-winning, ESG-integrated investment strategies. EIMY, managing approximately MYR67bn (USD14.2bn) in assets as of March 2025, is one of Malaysia’s largest asset managers. Eastspring Investments oversees USD256bn globally and continues to integrate ESG principles across its investment processes.
