Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh have pledged to enhance bilateral relations, focusing on high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, law enforcement, security, economy, trade, and investment during their meeting in Beijing. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. In light of the complex global situation, Li emphasised the need for joint efforts to build a closer community with a shared future. Both parties agreed on managing differences through dialogue, promoting maritime cooperation, and maintaining peace and stability. Pham stated that Vietnam values its relationship with China as a top priority in its foreign policy, endorsing China's Belt and Road Initiative and the Global Development Initiative.
