CFA Institute launches new PE certificate programme

The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute has launched a new private equity certificate programme tailored for professionals with one to three years of experience and those aspiring to enter the field. The self-paced, intermediate-level programme aims to equip participants with essential skills for analyzing private equity investments and implementing value-creation strategies. Targeting interns, analysts, and associates at private equity firms or investment banks, the programme covers five courses focusing on practical modelling skills. Upon completion of all courses and a 60-question final assessment, participants will receive a digital badge and certificate. Richard Fernand, head of certificate management, highlighted that this programme expands on last year’s foundational certificate and will precede an advanced certificate next year.
