Global asset management firm, BlackRock, has expanded its Asia wealth management division with the appointment of Mandy Lui as Head of Greater China Wealth, and Dennis Quah as Head of Singapore Wealth. Lui, previously with Baring Asset Management, will develop relationships with distributors in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and offshore China. Quah, bringing 20 years of asset management experience from Columbia Threadneedle and others, will strengthen partnerships with consumer banks, private banks, and insurers in Singapore. The appointments underscore BlackRock’s focus on wealth portfolio development in Asia, leveraging the executives’ deep local market knowledge to meet evolving investor needs, noted James Raby, BlackRock’s APAC head of wealth.
