Bitkub Capital Group Holdings, Thailand’s leading crypto exchange owner, plans a 2025 IPO on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, according to CEO Jirayut Srupsrisopa. This move aims to enhance the company’s visibility and secure funding, with financial advisors currently being appointed for the process. Although an IPO was previously hinted at in a 2023 shareholder letter, a definitive timeline was not provided. Amidst growing competition in Thailand’s crypto market, notably from Binance and Kasikornbank Pcl, Bitkub seeks to maintain its dominance. Following a significant stake sale in its exchange unit last July, Bitkub anticipates a valuation increase due to rising trading volumes. Despite a recent workforce reduction, Bitkub aims to expand its team to 3,000 by 2025.
