Barclays boosts Singapore office with London execs

Barclays Private Bank announced that two senior executives from its London office are relocating to Singapore to assume key roles. Tom Road, a 13-year Barclays veteran, will serve as deputy head of the Singapore office, focusing on ultra-high-net-worth and global family offices, while also spearheading growth strategies. Loh Wengmun will join as head of dealing and derivatives, overseeing the expansion of the bank's capital markets and trading capabilities. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Loh has been with Barclays since 2008. Jean-Christophe Gerard, CEO of Barclays Private Bank and Wealth Management, highlighted that these appointments would strengthen the bank's presence in Singapore and meet the banking and investment needs of its clientele.
