Australian staffing platform Weploy has officially entered the Vietnamese market after raising USD5m in its funding round. The investment round was anchored by an unnamed international investor. Weploy said it will use the fresh capital to further scale in Vietnam and help eliminate the gap in the supply and demand of seasonal staffing. For years, Vietnam's seasonal workers have had a hard time finding suitable jobs. At the same time, businesses are always in need of labour, but are struggling to find suitable candidates, which results in a waste of time that is spent on the search process. Weploy offers a professional and systematic approach to temporary staffing training and recruitment. It conducts candidate interviews to ensure personnel quality. It also organises training sessions on attitudes, job behaviour, and career orientation, among others.
