Vietnamese fintech firm MFast has launched in the Philippines to provide financial products. Led by Carolyn Rose G. Lao, an industry veteran, MFast aims to replicate its Vietnamese success through a learn-practice-earn framework, enabling individuals to become all-in-one agents. Founded in 2017 by Phan Thanh Long and Phan Thanh Vinh, MFast boasts 160,000 active agents in Vietnam, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. These agents, equipped with a comprehensive app, offer essential services in finance, banking, and insurance. Some agents in Vietnam earn over VND100m monthly (USD3,900), significantly above the average salary.
