French asset management company Amundi has named two new heads of investment overseeing various parts of Asia. Florian Neto will be the group’s new head of investment, Hong Kong & Taiwan, and head of multi-asset, Asia, while David Poh will become Amundi’s new head of investment and ESG strategies in South Asia. The French asset management company said the appointments are effective immediately. As the new head of investment overseeing Hong Kong and Taiwan, Neto will supervise the group’s investment teams in those countries. He will also be directly responsible for the multi-asset platform in the Asian region. Poh, who has been a CFA since 1997, joined the group in 2018 as head of equities. He was subsequently appointed head of investments for Singapore before becoming the head of research at Amundi BOC (Bank of China) wealth management in 2020.
