BNY Mellon Appoints Francis Giglio as Hong Kong CEO


BNY Mellon has appointed Francis Giglio as the new chief executive for Hong Kong, effective immediately. Giglio, who joined BNY Mellon in 2016, will retain his existing position as global head of relationship management for depositary receipts. Having previously held leadership roles at Nasdaq and the Singapore Exchange, he brings substantial experience to his new role. BNY Mellon, which operates its Asia Pacific regional headquarters out of Hong Kong, remains committed to shaping the financial and economic landscape of the city, according to Fangfang Chen, APAC chair and head of global client management at the firm. Chen expressed confidence in Giglio's ability to enhance client experiences, bolster their commercial offering, and achieve regional goals.
